The 2023 Review from DB Landscape Management

Starting a business is never a walk in the park, you really have to love what you do to go for it!

We have just passed our 1 year anniversary and what a year it has been!

Just like many other businesses across the country there have been highs and lows – and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Progression

12 months ago we have three clients – today we have 15 clients

12 months ago we completed our website with the fantastic Stephanie Collyer from Belluber developing the wire frame and our Anna Roochove populating and writing the content.

12 months ago our turnover was minimal, we have grown by 70%

Our work has seen the team operate across the UK and in the USA for one of the most high-profile events on the planet.

How did we do it?

Only the support of key suppliers and staff has enabled the business to thrive during this year, we value our business relationships and friendships within the industry.   Key people to name are Quercus, Barchams, and Jamie Betts to name just a few.

The landscaping industry strikes us as being one of the most collaborative businesses to work in, the sub-contracting culture that exists from the SME’s right up to the leading large landscape construction businesses is like no other, without those trusted and strong supplier relationships the reach we have would deteriorate and thus we cannot thank you enough (you know who you are!).

There is nothing we like more than collaborating on projects – team work really does make the dream work – and this has helped DB Landscape Management to grow.

What’s Next?

2024 is going to be a cracker, with new clients on board, we are armed and ready to manage new sites, and do everything we can to encourage rich biodiversity on the landscapes we oversee.  We pledge to go over and above for all our client’s.

You’ll be seeing more of our work over social media.  Our partnership with Ecologi and our membership of Greenfingers Charity endures and we will continue to do our best to act sustainably and raise money for hospice gardens.
